Three-year Fund Raising Goal : $150,000
St Elizabeth Parish is known as an open and welcoming community providing an important role in the Village of North Hatley. Primarily a place of worship, it also serves as a celebrated location for the various arts; and for community and benevolent organizations.
St Elizabeth is currently initiating a Capital Campaign for the immediate purchase of a new and environmental heating system. However, the long-term objective will be a three-year campaign designed to raise $150,000 by 2025 in order to financially address other urgently needed repairs and upgrades to such things as the lighting; the windows; and the roof of Lucien Vachon room.
To initiate this year’s drive, St Elizabeth, in association with the inspiring and acclaimed Ensemble Vocal Massawippi (EVM) under Lise Garner musical direction, will present a benefit choral concert with live music at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 20. The concert is presented under honorary co-presidents Michèle Dionne and Mary Pollock.
You are enthusiastically invited to purchase a ticket at $100 ($75 income tax receipt) or, to make a donation (100% deductible) payable by cheque to Ste Elizabeth Parish or online. Note that two generous donors have contributed $25,000 each. These donors are eager to have their donations matched by you, the members of the community.
Your generosity and involvement in this campaign are gratefully acknowledged in advance and both tickets and financial gifts are eligible for tax receipts. Help keep the physical integrity of this architectural jewel assured for future concerts and for its community in the years to come.
Thank you.
